We’ve suffered a couple of cold fronts lately, jokingly we have had our 2 weeks of winter, but despair not for Spring is here! This year’s Heritage Day falls on a Saturday so sadly we have no long weekend this September. So you will need to get your ‘A into G’ and book some time off to coincide with the short school holidays so that the whole family can get some down time (or some ‘up’ time packed with adventure, if that’s more your thing). The Hatchery caters for both, the tired and weary who desire sun bathing and siestas, as well as the adventure seekers need need to keep moving… mountain biking, paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing.
If you’re not yet had The Hatchery experience and wondering if a bush-beach-lagoon hideaway is a sufficient fit for the kids, no TVs and playstation, no swimming pools and water slides, no entertainment room, non of the ‘luxuries’ (or securities) of your regular hotel getaways. We would answer that you need to give it a try, book a weekend and you’re sure to be convinced. But don’t just take our word for it, some feedback we received from parents recently: “we don’t hear any crying and complaining from the kids, they are not even bothered with electronics, we’re able to actually sit back and relax as the kids are so busy and entertained”.
